Disability Support Workers
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team!
What we are looking for:
- Permanent Part Time Staff needed.
- Experience working with people with a disability with high support needs and complex clients would be an advantage, however full training is provided.
- Certificate III in Individual Support is required.
Applicant Requirements:
– Working with Children Check
– NDIS Workers Screening Check
– Current Provide First aid
– Current driver’s license, registered and insured vehicle
– Certificate III in individual supports or higher- If do not have at time of engagement, must be willing to enroll within in the first 6 months of employment and complete within the first 12 months of employment.
– Good Communication skills both written and oral
– Competence in the use of Microsoft word and Outlook
– Ability to work unsupervised or as a part of a team
– Good time management skills
– Ability to comply with policy and procedures
– Understanding of the NDIS and best practice disability standards
– Must be available to work 7 days / 24 hours (shift work) flexible hours
Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks, including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation certificate

Essentials:
Bring your tool belt pre-equipped with
- A proven track record in engaging with individuals with disabilities or mental health within the NDIS realm.
- Wizard-level skills in reading, understanding, and implementing NDIS plans.
- Recognized qualifications in disability services, or equivalent experience that sets you apart.
- A deep knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and the current best practices in the industry.
- A heart aligned with strengths-based practice and a person-centred approach.
- The flexibility to shine independently or collaborate seamlessly within a team.
- Motivation, maturity, and stress resilience to spare.
- The magic touch in coordinating support providers and clinicians, who tailor plans for people with disabilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to complete comprehensive case notes in a timely manner
- A current driver’s license, a comprehensively insured roadworthy motor vehicle and a First Aid Certificate.
- The golden trio of an NDIS Workers Screening Check, completed NDIS orientation modules, and a Working with Children’s Check.
