In 2023, CCLO opened a new group home in Hillview Street, our first group home on the Peninsula. This beautiful, purpose-built, single-storey home features five bedrooms and spacious shared living areas, including an accessible kitchen with adjustable benches, a lounge and dining area, laundry and an outdoor alfresco area. The home is equipped with modern appliances and air conditioning throughout, while each bedroom includes built-in wardrobes, television connection points and dimmable lighting. Participants receive high-quality, 24-hour support from CCLO’s dedicated staff, including overnight onsite assistance. Our team supports each participant to pursue their person-centred goals, build independence and live safely in an environment free from abuse and neglect. The property is conveniently located near Everglades Country Club, Brisbane Water and Peninsula Leisure Centre. In 2023, three CCLO participants moved into one of our Platinum-standard group homes in Gorokan. This home currently has one vacancy available. The beautiful, single-storey, five-bedroom home features spacious shared living areas, including a kitchen, lounge and dining area, laundry and outdoor alfresco area. Safety and comfort features include Crimsafe lockable screen doors and windows, as well as fully ducted air conditioning throughout the home. The property is SDA-approved and provides dedicated, high-quality support from CCLO staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The current participants are three women aged between 28 and 60. Our dedicated team supports each participant to pursue their person-centred goals, develop greater independence and live safely in an environment free from abuse and neglect. The home is conveniently located close to local shops, Lake Haven Shopping Centre and public transport. A nearby park is only a five-minute walk away, while some of the Central Coast’s beautiful beaches and Tuggerah Lakes can be reached within approximately 10 minutes by car.
