CCLO Living is a not-for-profit charity, established in 1996. We have been assisting people with a disability to live their life to its fullest potential for almost 25 years. 

We have grown rapidly over the last years, and provide Supported Independent Living Homes through the Central Coast.

We are seeking to recruit Disability Support Workers, for a range of positions across our organisation.

What we are looking for:

  • Permanent Part Time & Casual Staff needed.
  • Experience working with people with a disability with high support needs and complex clients would be an advantage, however full training is provided.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable. CCLO encourages all of our employees to take advantage of our in-house accredited training program that offers Cert III and Cert IV qualifications, through combined work site observation and self-paced study.

CCLO are Currently looking for staff for the various locations:

  • GOSFORD AREA- 3/ 4 weeks start date
  • WYONG AREA- Immediate start
  • COMMUNITY- Immediate start

Applicant Requirements:

*Working with Children Check

*NDIS Workers Screening Check

*Current Provide First aid

*Current driver’s license, registered and insured vehicle

*Certificate III in individual supports or higher- If do not have at time of engagement, must be willing to enrol within in the first 6 months of employment and complete within the first 12 months of employment.

*Good Communication skills both written and oral

*Competence in the use of Microsoft word and Outlook

* Ability to work unsupervised or as a part of a team

*Good time management skills

*Ability to comply with policy and procedures

*Understanding of the NDIS and  best practice disability standards

*Must be available to work 7 days / 24 hours (shift work) flexible hours

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks, including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation certificate
